Sierra Brown, Ph.D., NCSP, ABPP
Dr. Brown is a licensed psychologist, board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology. She earned her BS from the University of Pittsburgh and her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Duquesne University. She completed an APA-accredited internship with Loudoun County Public Schools and a postdoctoral fellowship at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where she focused on psychological assessment and psychotherapy for neurodiverse children, adolescents, and young adults.
Before joining the Children’s Counseling Center of Hershey (CCCofH), Dr. Brown was engaged in research, teaching, and providing psychological services in both hospital and school-based settings. She brings a rich background in school psychology and child clinical psychology to deliver evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents.
Dr. Brown has a particular expertise in treating children and adolescents up to age 18, with specialties in anxiety, OCD, Tics/Tourette syndrome, and PANS/PANDAS. She also performs evaluations for autism, ADHD, giftedness, and psychoeducational assessments at CCCofH.
Her office is thoughtfully designed to be engaging and comfortable, featuring a play area for younger clients and a calming space for adolescents and teens. With a compassionate approach and a wealth of experience, Dr. Sierra Brown is a trusted support for children and families navigating the complexities of mental health and emotional well-being.
