Prior to joining us at Children’s Counseling Center of Hershey, Remi was an integral part of the Milton Hershey School for over three years, faithfully serving alongside his owner, Dr. Newkam. Their partnership extends beyond mere companionship; it’s a collaboration dedicated to making a positive impact.
Remi has a gentle demeanor and intuitively responds to the emotions and needs of those around him. He has embarked on numerous visits to elementary school classrooms in the Hershey area, where he shares his warmth and wisdom with children. Through these interactions, Remi imparts invaluable social-emotional skills, fostering an environment where young minds can thrive and flourish.
As Remi works alongside Dr. Newkam at the Children’s Counseling Center of Hershey they will undoubtably make a lasting impact to all they meet. Together, they will continue their mission of bringing comfort, healing, and hope to children in need.
